I know there's a guy on youtube that rebuilt the forks on a 72 DT2, I can't see why a 72 LT2 would be any different.

LT2 would probably be more like early AT/CT forks than DT2 forks?

More dig into it and according to the diagram , AT and CT have the allen screws at the bottom of the forks that holds the cylinder in place but the LT2 doesnt have one beside the two long and short springs in the tube.

Hi Wes, Thanks for thinking of me!!!  Yeah I've been getting lot's of wind and raid for the last few hours and it's only going to get worse from here.  They are predicting the eye is going to be just a few miles north of my, Titusville which is about 30 miles east of Orlando and about 10 miles west of Cape Canaveral, anyway it's "suppose" to be downgraded to a Tropical storm by the time it gets to me.  The big problem is it's moving so darn slow, right now 8 MPH and just dumping loads of rain along with the high winds, which I'll see both of those early tomorrow (or so they are saying).  Anyway, thanks again Wes, me, the pups and my bikes are all safe
