Oil mixture was created by SMGIT200

I just purchased a 1984 Yamaha IT200. What is the best oil and ratio for mixing with the gas?
Thanks

I would bet the factory recommended 20:1, this was pretty typical for air cooled bikes running cast in sleeves. If you're using good oil, 32:1 would probably work well. My premix bikes get Maxima Super M and it has provided excellent protection through some very hard usage.

Congratulations on finding one. I use either 32:1 or 40:1 with synthetic two stroke oil in my '86 IT200, no issues yet for damage or plug fouling.
