Thanks. yeah I was thinking of gasket gue for the left hand side. The damage might have been done using an impact screwdriver but not sure. I am going to try checking the CDI next and see what damage I can do there lol. Ahh least I know there is life in the two coils and the ignition coil is brand new.

Put every thing back together now and back to the original issue. I have ordered a new plug cap and waiting for a replacement CDI.

I have replaced my nylon broken neutral switch with a Kawasaki metal one. The same size, same design apart from being stronger. The neutral light is not working. As I am low on engine oil, would the low oil level effect the working of the neutral switch?

The neutral light is now working, I had the bike on the stand in a false neutral. Put the new plug cap on, still no spark. Now waiting for a replacement CDI. I hope that is the problem.

Replaced the CDI and YES! I have a spark. Now waiting for a gasket to arrive so I can fit it and hopefully stop the oil leaks. Once filled and filled with oil I will be able to test her and see if she starts.

Thank you so much for everyones thoughts and assistance, it has really been appreciated.

Hey, that's great. I would have picked the cdi box as my last choice, so happy to be wrong lol.
