Hopefully, the pictures uploads are fixed for the time being. Let me know if you continue to have issues. I am looking into a more permanent solution. Thanks for your patience. - Makotosun

Hey all!

I picked up a project for next winter. That will hopefully give me some time to research and find missing pieces without breaking the recently instituted retirement budget. I learned to ride in the 70s on a GT80, so was looking for something from the tuning fork company that resonated with my past.

I'm quite impressed with the knowledge and skills I've seen evidenced on the forum. Not sure yet of the level of detail I'll be applying as it will be my first restoration/cleanup of a bike. I do want to end up as close to stock as possible as an end goal, but mechanicals and road worthiness will be taken care of first.

It seems photo uploads are still a problem (or I don't know how to do it properly) so in the meantime you can see some pics here:

I have a headlamp assy. Don't know if the sealed beam is any good.

Thank you Dennis D. How do we proceed as I need a headlight? I have the mounts (orange) on the forks only.

I will get you some pictures tomorrow. It's still on a bike
that I will be parting out. The paint is about faded away
on it.
Checked the sealed beam and it has both high and low
beam working on it. Ring would have to be plated to make
it nice and the bucket needs paint, but is not bent or dented.
High beam indicator bulb is not working.I will get you some pictures tomorrow. It's still on a bike
