Probably AT (others can confirm), but let's see what Kev says regarding size - it can always be painted if necessary.

Yep if it will fit his bike then paint would be a cheap option, I know how hard these things are to find!

Hello Superkev.
I'm Dave and in Lancashire. I have an HT1B. I have several brand new stays for the mudguard.
I'm away this weekend but send me a reply and on Monday i will see what i have, I don't have complete switch gear but may have the shells and some internals . I also have the silver sheathing for the wiring.
If you split the crank, put an MX 100 rod and bearings in. Miles better.
Small edit here.
HT and LT stays are pressed steel not tubing like the AT CT DT etc.

I'm not sure HT1 ever came with turn signals in the US? But if like other models that weren't supplied with signals there may have been wires for them in the loom.

Turn signals were not and are not required for street use in the USA if bike was manufactured before 1-1-1973.

Interesting rabbit hole that this led me down!

Mark is one of quite a few who said that the HT1 didn't come with indicators in the US and, as they were there at the time, I quite believe them!

However, the parts list on CMSNL does show them (see attached) and, interestingly, it shows what I always (wrongly

) assumed was the later left switchgear on the same parts page (the handlebar parts page shows the other switch).

Perhaps the indicators were an optional extra and the different left switchgear was supplied with them?

It looks like 1971 HT1-B did have signals... which makes sense since most of the rest of the enduro line got signals in the USA in 1971.

I might be thinking of the smaller JT1-L
