My front brake switch is stuck in the on position.  I'd like to remove the cable from the lever perch to clean and inspect, but I'm not sure exactly how to remove it, trying not to break anything.
I saw a switch listed on ebay and it looks like there are a couple of tabs to depress from the outside, just looking for advice on the best way to get it out safely?

Tabs break easily.  Press them carefully and pull switch gently but don't be surprised if they break.  Almost always super brittle after all these years.

Prudent to order a new one.

Replied by 1jcnorton on topic how to remove the front brake switch from perch?

I just can't seem to figure out where the tabs are, or what to use to press them. Can you draw me a picture? LOL
