Looks like it could be. How much? Title? How far from you?

$500 would be my limit. A few things missing. Are you going dirt bike or street?

Be sure to verify VIN if you're purchasing bike to be a genuine MX as it's advertised. Pipe looks correct, with a silencer (or something) added.
Good luck!!

The serial number range for the factory MX model is DT1F-090101 thru DT1F-093684. Not many were made and not many survived. Some dealers were converting Enduro models to MX models by removing the street legal stuff and putting some GYT parts on. A true factory MX model with correct GYT parts would bring good money today. A factory RT1 MX even more.

I have a set of Mandarin Orange parts (gas tank, oil tank, headlight and ears) that were removed back in the day to convert an Enduro into an MX. They look like NOS.

The hours spent riding my Enduros is not deducted from my life span.

If they say it's got a GYT pipe fitted it might not be a genuine MX as they came ready to go, complete race bike not a gyt kit. In saying that they might be just making a statement or stating the obvious as in a go fast original pipe which is much the same as a gyt pipe, maybe a bigger stinger on the mx. DT1MX came with a cast cylinder liner not the GYT kit Chrome cylinder. Pretty rare beast these days. I have the cylinder off one on my long stroked 250/280 70x70, about time i cranked it up again. Cheers. ps, mx had a center plug head & by memory the head & cylinder were black painted when new where the gyt top end had no paint. & i stuffed my chrome cylinder--still annoyed with myself lol.

Hey Bill, I happen to have a good use for that set if you're willing to sell them and they really look as new.

I'm reluctant to sell them. I plan a restoration with them. I do have another set that were painted. Very nice but the NOS headlight is there for comparison. That set is for another build that will be a rider.

I've accumulated a lot of nice parts for when I retire. But I must admit that the current work situation I have is delaying that.
